In today's post I will be sharing a detailed review of the new gyaru photo magazine LOALO! [

Released on June 4, 2022 in Japan with all photography by
@ryu_since2012. Volume 2 was released in September.
It is a gravure magazine featuring models old and new, some notable names being Sora Fujiki, Maaachirin, Harutamu, and Akarin!
There are about 13 or so models featured in this issue. The magazine is about 30 or so pages thick and about 1/3 the thickness of an Ageha magazine. It has very minimal ads and is mainly focused on the photoshoots.
Each model has a four-page spread all following the same outline:
- Introductory full-page photograph with name
- Multi-photo page
- Multi-photo page
- Informational full-page photo with social media information

At the end of the magazine are what I believe to be featured fans. I do not read Japanese so I'm not sure. Sorry! T_T

There are also ads for tanning salons.
Again, the ads are very minimal and only take up about four pages total.
Overall I think the magazine is really cool! It is very different than the gal magazines we already know. This magazine is more of a photobook. If you're like me and can't read Japanese then this is the perfect magazine for you as it is mainly just photos lol!
I would love to see LOALO branch out and feature some clothes modeling and cute behind-the-scenes photos. I think there should be more pages! :) They are just starting out, so I can't wait to see what future issues become. ♡
